Who We Are

Learning Through Doing

stem+M is a one-semester, 90-hour manufacturing course for middle school. Hands-on activities give students real tools and real problems while teachers guide from the side.

  • Aligned, not generic. Lessons meet 95% of the ITEEA Standards for Technological and Engineering Literacy, with instructional resources that include mapping to national standards, so districts hit academic targets while students build authentic skills.
  • Built for exploration. The course blends whole-class and small-group work, encouraging curiosity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Teacher friendly. A learning-management system tracks progress and keeps resources in one place, letting any educator succeed, even without previous CTE experience.

“Programs like stem+M provide students with real-world, hands-on learning that not only builds critical technical skills but also inspires future careers in advanced manufacturing fields that are vital to our nation’s economic and national security.”
